Quality Characteristics of J4:
Stainless steel with higher strength properties and good ductility, characterized by low magnetism after cold forming and in a normal environment, with corrosion properties fully comparable with 18/8 steels. Not suitable for use in salt aggressive environments.

Technological features:
Welding:
J4 can be welded by using all conventional methods applied for 18/8 austenitic grades. A welded wire or electrodes used for welding of the 300 series can be used for welding. The weld is sensitive to crystalline corrosion.
Pressing and forming:
Solid material with very good elongation for structural use.
Suitable for common drawing, bending, pressing. Not suitable for very deep drawing.
Use:
Dining: furniture, cutlery, water and milk containers, bottles
Consumer goods: washing machines, baking ovens, refrigerators, gas cookers, gift and decorative items
Buildings and structures: interior cladding, elevators, load-bearing structures
Industry and transport: handling equipment, conveyor belts and stairs, containers
IMMEDIATE USE:
Aggressive outdoor environment, outdoor seaside environment, seaside climate with higher precipitation, lye and acid storage.
